I recently had the chance to take a full guided tour of a five-star luxury resort and spa. Given my curiosity, I accepted immediately. The property is the Venosa Beach Resort and Spa, which opened in May this year in the Yesilkent area on Turkey’s Aegean coast.

Guest reviews on TripAdvisor suggest that after an initial period of settling in, Venosa Beach Resort and Spa has gained approval from visitors of various nationalities. While dining at the restaurant I heard several languages around me, which was reassuring. Although the area traditionally attracts many British holidaymakers, the diversity of guests indicates Venosa is widening its appeal and drawing more international visitors to Altinkum.

Venosa Beach Resort and Spa features 339 rooms, four restaurants, four bars, indoor and outdoor pools, a full range of activities and spa facilities. Was I impressed? Absolutely. For someone who is normally critical of all-inclusive resorts, I found the experience notable for its quality and attention to detail.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed the open buffet in the main dining hall, and there are also four specialty restaurants focusing on Italian cuisine, seafood and Ottoman dishes. The variety ensures options for many tastes and enhances the overall dining experience.

Touring the Venosa Beach Resort and Spa
During the tour I was consistently struck by the careful design and artwork throughout the resort. The décor feels thoughtfully chosen and well executed, with clear investment in creating a comfortable, calming atmosphere. These design choices contribute to a polished, luxurious ambiance that enhances the guest experience.

Some TripAdvisor comments mentioned the resort’s location as a downside. To be fair, Venosa clearly states it is situated in Yesilkent, an area known for being quiet with fewer immediate entertainment options. For travelers seeking peace and a relaxed atmosphere, that is a benefit. If you prefer a livelier locale with many nearby activities, Yesilkent may feel more tranquil than expected. Personally, I appreciate Yesilkent’s calm and have often chosen it as a favorite retreat.

Would I stay at the Venosa Beach Resort and Spa?
I would not stay overnight only because I already own an apartment about 15 minutes away. However, I would gladly buy day passes to enjoy the pools and spa, and I would use the resort’s specialty restaurants for evening meals. Overall, if you are seeking an all-inclusive resort experience in Turkey, the Venosa Beach Resort and Spa presents a strong, well-executed option.
Reviews and guest feedback reflect a range of experiences, but the resort’s facilities, service and attention to detail make it a noteworthy choice for travelers who value comfort, quality dining and a relaxed seaside setting.
